Please allow us to present the latest creations from Minormous Models.
These represent a Mycenaean warrior in Dendra panoply 1500 B.C. The Dendra panoply or Dendra armour is an example of Mycenaean-era panoply (full-body armour) made of bronze plates uncovered in the village of Dendra in the Argolid, Greece, dating from 1400 BC.

These are 3D printed models, printed by El Greco Miniatures under license from Minormous Models.

They are available in 2 versions:
- 75mm scale figure in grey resin, 3D-printed at 0.03mm
- 1/12 scale bust in grey resin, 3D-printed at 0.03mm

Both kits offer a variety of head options and there are also shield options for the figure. Please note that the plinth for the bust is NOT included.

Apologies for the image size but the file images were not uploading correctly to PF so had to insert URL link images.

Really like this! Wish the figure was larger though. Where to get the plinth for the bust?
BR
Ian

Hi Ian - the plinth will be available shortly as an added option to the bust. Reason being it takes almost 5 hrs just to print the plinth so we needed to prioritise.

When I first mentioned Minormous on PF last May they were available on Etsy and the busts were offered in 200mm scale.
Do the good people intend to sell the busts in that scale?

Hello, This is being printed in 1/12 scale. A 200mm bust is 1/10 scale. There are logistical reasons for not printing it in a larger scale, mainly due to the size of the spear. It would also lead to much longer printing times as it is quite a large bust (half-figure), which in turn adds to the cost.

This is a great looking 3d sculpted figure with multiple head and shield options, but is it possible to post a close up photo of a printed copy? as 3d printing quality can vary and change a lot the final product..Thank you in advance for your time and effort.

As requested here are some pics of the 3D prints of the bust and the figure.
(Not sure why pics are not showing properly, as for the original post, not sure why the pics have disappeared.)

This was high status armour belonging to a noble. The proportions are a bit out. Shoulder pieces are too large. They would not have used a large body shield with this.

I made one of these. See profile picture. Mine was based on the actual measurements scaled up. Peter Conollys reconstruction had a few issues too. I spoke to him about it at length one weekend when we had a student dress up in it.

If tweaked a little this would be excellent
