Costas, nicely done. I shivered just looking at him. Love the weathering and snow on the jacket. Is it maybe the photos, or does he look a little "off center" in these pics? He seems to lean a bit backwards and to his right. It makes him look just a tiny bit off ballance. I also like your choice of backgrounds, adds to the mood.

Dear guys thanks for your commenting. This was a fun piecefor me , as everything that includes snowand cold !!! LOL

The bit of balance was pointed out to me by the figures pose already , plus the factthat he is crossing between woods and i was trying to give some more drama

Dear Marc the background is printed and putted behind the theme while shoting . The only Photoshop addition is a bit of snow right and left of his foot , just for fun , nothing else ,so ....it would nt make any difference

Very Nice Costas!

The snow and the feeling of a freezing and cold grenadier is great.

A question, I'm doing a winter scene myselves these days, what do you use for snow? and how did you attached the snow to the figure?

Its also amazing that you made this piece in 4 days

Cheers

Hi guys and thanks
Per Olav, you should be an expert in snow , with all this amount outside your home !!! LOL

Snow - ground

Under layer: Valejo Acrylic Snow in bottle
Medium Layer: CA glue minerall filler for sparkling
Over layer: Microballons

Woods snowing :

a bit of Valejo snow with toothpick and after drying some Valejo spray varnish and Microballons over it partially

Clothes : Valejo spray varnish and Microballons over it (3 times)
spray from good distance not to blow the existing snow
