Adrian, Christos, John, David, Gendegaia, Scott, and MarquisMini:

Thanks guys! I appreciate your comments.

Gendegaia - The snow is from Andrea. On the base, I just brushed diluted white glue on the base of putty. Then sprinkle on the snow. Repeat to build up volume. I also used Microballoons for the snow on the lower areas of the figure. I used acrylic matte medium as the "glue."

MarquisMini - The red is primarily Vallejo 926. I like to add a touch of green. Shade with more green and black. Highlight with Vermillion and Scarlet.

If I had it to do over, I'd put less snow on the bottom of the cloak...
First thing I thought of!

Lovely work on the paint Jason, really nice contrast between the vivid red and the subdued green.

Edit: just spotted, the sword scabbard looks a little flat compared to contrast level in the regular paint - another one of those things that looks better in the flesh?

Just one more pic. I worked a little bit more on the snow on the cloak, trying to make the top edge of the snow less straight across. The change is very subtle, but I think it looks a bit better.
