Greetings
I have done some more work on this. Will post a few pics when the camera batteries are charged.
In relation to the picture below what is the your opinion on the Colour of the Buttons.
The Notes on this say the little buttons down the front of the wes git are gold.
I have looked in all my button books and the tunic buttons are Brass / Gilt for officers. but cannot find a Mess Dress Button.
I know mess dress buttons vary a little some silver, some brass with silver motif.
What do you make of the two buttons on the Cuff s and the one on the shoulder boards.

Greetings.
Slight update.
All base colours now on.
The Gold braid is Dark Star Renaissance Gold. I thought this matched the braid on the picture above.
The Mess Jacket itself is Vallejo Yellow Ochre . It has had two thin coats, think it needs one more.
The Wes git collar & cuffs are Black Grey and I will be putting a very very thin dark Prussian blue wash on to give it that velvet look.
Still a lot to do, but getting there.

Great progress Mick. Will it be ready for Figureworld?

Hi Rob.
Thank you. It should be done by then, But not sure if it will be going,
I will be travelling up by public transport and not sure at the moment how much room will be left after I have packed my stock.
Thanks
Mick

He looks great Mick. I like the complexion you have given him, he looks like he has already enjoyed the hospitality of the mess!

Thanks Rob.
I'm pleased you like it and picked up on the face,
My face painting needs a lot more work, but if you were to
look in my cabinet you would see I am getting better.
Thanks for looking & commenting.
