I'd but it was not I good shape as you can see, I know I could have got in touch with Gordon but to be honest I was not to fussed as it was only a test figure just to see if I could get reasonable results on such a large scale.

I should not have used it as a test piece and spent more time on prep.
The primer was all wrong so the oils did not cover, hence the use of other types of paint as a base and trying other types of paint.

Should have treated it like a full on piece.

There is no sheen on the clothing which I am pleased with.

That's looking really good , the uniform colour looks really sharp , nice details on the belt as well

From what I can see the rank badge and medals looks nice as well

Like the way the chin chain has been done
