A beautifully cast bust, with some great detail. A must have, although outside my normal period of interest.

Very nice Bob,
What colour did you use to do the scuffed leather on the head dress.

Mick

Nice painting job

Beautiful painting on fantastic piece. I have this in my GA to do one day.

Thanks all, really appreciate the comments.

Mick; I used a rust colour from Citadel RYZA RUST mixed with some brown to tone down the colour as its to garish. then toned down with some brown
Tommi; you will enjoy it, its a lovely cast figure.

Hi Bob,
have been using Panzer Aces Light and Dark Rust. It looks ok but not as good as yours.

Very good work Bob, first-class mate.
That wear and tear on shako is exceptional.

Lovely work Bob, as you say lovely moulding, I have painted all five of these H&V Franco-Prussian War busts as they are so nice.

That's a real cracker Bob...this one caught my eye as well but too much on bench already...;). Mike

Thank you all again,
Gellso on a thread, showed how he painted black leather boots, I did the same for the shako. Here, http://www.planetfigure.com/threads/leather-boots-sbs-any-leather.58613/

Geoff; I like to paint a few more of theirs but they are not Napoleonic or British Victorian.

Mike; you will love it.

Nap; see you soon.
