It has been The Red Lancers victim of an attack to hacker?

When the Web is opened appears the page of hacker and a page in Arab is a connection to Security Team...

Somebody knows something more.

Warm greetings from Spain.

I also noticed this. My initial reaction was to see if I had credit card information on file there(I didn't). Since we don't know WHAT on his website got hacked, I would advise everyone to watch their credit cards closely. Chuck, or his webmaster, can tell us to what extent he got hit, and if the online ordering system is at risk(I doubt it, as this aspect is usually encrypted), but, you can never be too careful!

Hacking the web site and hacking the database where credit card info is stored are two different things. Since I work with IT and know something about security you should all know that a good majority of credit card rip offs are INSIDE JOBS not external hackers! Also, if the person's intent were to steal credit card information chances are they would not be so obvious as to deface the homepage at the same time. Hacking is best done stealthily. This sounds like a kid.

Well, I think the credit card stuff would be safe cos more than likely that its sat on a nice 128 bit encrypted server, and it looks like it just was teh front end, the credit card stuff would be encrypted and you would have to have the key to get at it.

I for one am not worried, and as above I work in IT (sys admin for a software house).

Like as been said above, if they were after credit card details they would have been rather stealhty and not let you know they been there.

Its a script kiddie trying his wings is all, the host needs to check his security though.

Robin
