Hello everyone.

I have just finished this magnificent bust of Hannibal Barca, an already old reference from Nuts Planet.

As usual, I work exclusively with brushes and acrylic.

I hope that you will like.

That would (should) be a 'Gold' in any competition. Fantastic work!

Totally agree there , love the animal skin and the metallics ...especially the sword hilt

Do share your colours for that flesh ...it's so so good

Thank you very much Kevin.

For the skin, I can only give the colors used, because on the palette, I mix so many things that I can't say exactly how much paint is added to which other...

The colors used are as follows, often in very small quantities. Some are used for the base layers and then they are covered with other colors, but the transparency effect always plays a little and you can "guess" the color underneath, even if you can't see it directly.

PA 70 876 Sand brown
PA 70804 Beige red
PA 70 846 Mahogany Brown
PA 70909 Vermilion
PA 70928 Light Flesh
PA 70917 Beige
PA 70911 Dawn
PA 70 950 Black

I have already posted 5 photos for the new bi-monthly competition ending February 28th. ;)

Hi
Very nice paintjob. Just curious , did you remove fur texture from pelt?

Yes that's right. The coat of the panther does not have long hairs, except under the belly on restricted areas. The hollows in the sculpture make it necessary to make marks that are too big. I wanted to make them smaller and more numerous, so I "erased" the original coat.
