Any ideas what The Star of Africa's hair colour was? I am painting the Pegaso and he is not wearing a hat and has a full head of hair showing. Thanks in advance.

Marseilles.
Hi,
I have the Schiffer book on Marseilles and have painted Puchala's 1/16th version.
Anyway,from what I could find out, his hair was of a "Dark blonde" shade.
BTW,some interesting historical conjecture has emerged alluding to the possibility that Marseille,when in Germany on the occasion of an awards investiture was informed about the 'Final solution'.
In dismay,he absconded to Italy and had to be returned to Germany by the Gestapo.
As a national hero no action was taken against him.
