Hello all, this is my first crack ever at painting a Native American, would liked it to have come out better, but I learned some things for the next one.

Excellent work Steve. The only thing I could point out for future Native American figures is maybe go a little darker with the skin tones.

Steve,
crakin' job! I think he looks great! As Guy said, he might be a bit light, but as we all know skin tones vary greatly. Nice work on a great bust!

Wonderfull paintjob!
And the wooden base is a clever adition!
I have "Magua" from that series. Seems I have to give it a try sooner or later.
Truly inspirational.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi sd0324,

This is Carl Reid I sculpted this bust, thankyou for your very kind compliments, it's so nice to have your work appreciated. You have made an excellent job of the painting. You have done the piece justice! Some of the comments are correct it could be slightly darker, but native americans came with varying dergrees of skin tone as we all do.

Great job
Carl
