W.I.P.

I want to show the different works. These are the heads of different characters which I do sometimes. I don't want to do separate subjects under each such head therefore I will place all photos in this subject.

it not commercial projects, is my training to mold recognizable portraits.

Nice work; although you need to work on the nostrils on Willem Dafoe, look at the real image how his nostrils are flaired out and had a upper cut to them; where yours are not flaires and hang low.
Keep up the impressive work.

Some awesome work here (y) I recognised Dinklage straight away from the thread thumbnail. I think the second one is particularly good, although there are some slight variations (e.g. the profile of the nose) the likeness is immediately recognisable.

One general point I'd make is to have a closer look at the ears. They're very tricky to get right, it's something all sculptors stuggle with!

Thanks for good responses.

In a portrait molding very seldom it is possible to make 100 % similarity, is can make only the computer and 3D the scanner.
But I try to transfer recognition and character of the character, to make it recognizable. Here problem of my trainings.

I want to show a step-by-step lesson as it is necessary to mold the head of the person. I think it there will be interestingly many who starts to mold the head. This lesson very much helped me, let it will help also to you.

Hi Andrey,
Happy New Year my friend.
As always your work here is excellent and continues to get better and better.
I am in the process of preparing and painting your Lt Col Colin Mitchell, a finely sculpted bust.
Good to here from you,
Keith

Impressive SBS-presentation! And if your exercises in sculpting portraits are "just exercises" I am looking forward to your next commercial projects. Especially the likeness of Russell Crowe seems to be hard to capture - so far many attempts of different sculptors failed in my eyes but your "exercise" looks spot on!
Cheers, Martin
