David, Malkie and Kev, thank you gents I appreciate the concern. The only thing that's worrying me is the eye, I can live without the hip etc but sight loss would be rather irritating.

I've been tinkering at the bench and it's not easy but I can push putty better than paint so that's what I'm doing. Going to have a lot to paint when things get back to right as I've started another figure, Napoleonic British Infantry, but I have a plan for this one that I find rather amusing!

Sounds like a grand idea, though I've been told to cut down my alcoholic intake given I was doing about three times the government recommendation a week. As for falling apart, it's time to get the gaffer tape out to hold it all together.

No we were both RAOC only I was daft enough to jump out of aircraft, but then in 1983 Para pay was £5.32 (ish) a day extra so I went for it. Made me the cripple I am today, and yes I'd do it all again.

On a different tack, I cheered for Scotland this evening to no avail, France deserved the win!
