Hello Everybody

Hello everybody, I am very new to the site but have spent the last week being inspired by all your great work.
I have not painted in a good while after loosing a very good friend in the hobby and loosing my interest in visiting shows and competitions without him, even my wife has been trying hard to get me enthusiastic again, offering to buy any kit I liked (not something that happens everyday)
I have just purchased the 90mm Viking by Young Miniatures, and can feel my creative juices flowing again, just need to try and remember which size paintbrush to use. Many thanks to Redlancer for their great service and thanks to the members of this site that have given me inspiration once more through their great posts.
I have attached a couple of pics by a friend, Grant Stevens who never fails to astound me with the quality of his work

Hello Mark,

Welcome to the PF. I know about not having the desire to get back into the hobby. I too went thru some personal things and took 2 years off but I am now glad to be back. I hope that you will post some of your work and really appreciate seeing the pictures that you have posted.

Welcome to planetFigure, this is the place for all us figure painters to be. Lots of great people here, everyone is always willing to help. The 90mm Viking is a cool figure, I look forward to seeing yours. Whenever I loose interest in something, I take some time off, visit this place, and everyone's work inspires me to start again.
