An old guy returning to the hobby. Last figures painted were an Imrie-Risely Compagnie de la Franche Marine and a Historex Hussar with Humbrol enamels. Last camera used was a Hasselblad with film.
Interests, Templars, Military Bands and the French Indian Wars.

Cheers
Will

Hasselblad, now there's a name I haven't heard in a while!

My brother used be be a photographer in the RAF, and he used one of those. Where I work now we have a Phase One camera, descended from Mamiya.

It's a brave new world in this hobby of ours, and very exciting. Welcome aboard and hold on tight!

All the best,
Jon.

Thanks Jon. I used the Hasselblad along with a SpeedGraphic and a Nikon as studio ground cameras in the RCAF.
(With tongue in cheek) Photography has changed a bit since then.

Thanks for the welcome Joe and Ken. Ken your tagline reminds me of what I tell my teenaged offspring when I foul things up. "I realize I have been called intelligent, BUT, I NEVER said I was smart!"

p.s. Can anyone direct me to where I can upload my avatar? The member profile wont accept my JPEG and the heavy gravatar is unknown to me.
