I'm starting at the Tartan of this great bust (http://www.planetfigure.com/threads/ww-1-gordon-highlander-piper-sergeant-carl-reid.56225/) find some good reference pictures of it but I have some questions about the chevrons and badges.
On the picture's I've found on the internet the badge is green with a yellow cross. The chevrons are blue on the right underarm, and on the left onderarm white. The sergeant chevrons are brown white.
Now i''ve seen this beautifull painted bust, and don't know anymore what is right or wrong.

The badges are some kind of Tartan, and the chevrons are blue with red on the right and white and red on the left.

Who brings light in my darkness????

Thanks Carl.
It's a great help. Now to make something more clear I have the following questions.
He can have on his right sleave four blue stripe's, one stripe for every year.
He has two wounded straps on his left sleeve who should be brass. If I make one blue red on his right sleeve, I have one brass and one red on his left. Would that be right????

Marc

Both wounded stripes in brass Marc, never seen them in red.
Service stripes on the right sleeve in blue, first one red for 1914.
