Help with DCU 3 colour painting

Hello!
I would like to know if is possible (correct) to paint this figure pants in DCU 3 colours?
The figure in question is from Evolution Miniatures set EM-35061 Humvee Crew in Fight.

DCU and MARPAT pants do not have the same design.

If I remember correctly, this figure wears Marine Corps Combat Utility Uniform (MCCUU) in MARPAT, and not Desert Combat Uniform in 3-color pattern.

I made my research. For me, the figure's pants look like a DCU piece, not a MAPART.
