A Fixture
Hi guys,
Hope no one minds me posting this, as it's a bit of a diversion for me, although It's intended to showcase the figures.
The figures were purchased by my son for my birthday, last year and are pre painted vinyl type figures, approx 1/24 scale. I had an idea to use them in a small diorama and this is what I came up with. The Renault van is a kit by Ebro, painted to echo the graphic style in the books, the pavement is laser engraved acrylic, as is the pave road and the boxes came with the kit. The figures had moulding seams removed, Tintin's arms were blended in at the shoulders with milliput and all the modifications were painted and blended in with the factory paintwork. I added a black ink wash to emulate the drawn outline of the original characters.
In all, an enjoyable project, as I am a huge Tintin fan!
Thanks for looking,
Steve
