A Fixture
Hi guys,
Last night I started a new project, a conversion of Young Miniature's Pirate bust to an English Highwayman.
The bust is a group build project being undertaken by several members of the Historical Military Figures Society of Western Australia, and is being very well supported by Ian Harries ("busso boy") at Empire Hobbies and Young Miniatures. Thanks Ian and Young
Rather than simply build and paint this bust OOB, I decided to convert him. I was not planning to include the monkey anyway, and once I decided it was going to be a converted bust, I decided to go all the way and make major changes.
I used my dremel to grind off most of the surface details and texture on the upper body, and I plan to sculpt the right arm holding a pistol across his chest using Super Sculpey Firm Grey.
Hope you like it. Any comments/ suggestions are welcome.
