'The Captain' 1/10th scale bust

Hello Pfer's,

A pretty quick project, that was actually a commission that needed an extra hurry along. I decided to try a stippled effect for the uniform, and a lighter colour than I usually use, especially for the highlights, more yellowy greens than the mahogany brown that I usually add in with the olive Green.

It was entered into the local model and hobby expo last weekend under the 'historical bust' post mid 19th century category .
I'm chuffed to say it won a gong, which is the first time for me.

Gosh he looks just like Arthur Lowe, the skin tones are perfect as is the likeness. Uniform also passes muster, Excellent job and a well deserved Gong.
