Its been a while since I've gotten back to this figure. This is the finished piece, from the WIP previous posts. The rules are only what's in my prodigious spare parts box can be used. Not the greatest painter in the world but I like it.

Really like this one - great to see one of the greatest mediums in the universe being used so imaginatively.

Cheers

Got to love anything Historex - reminds me what can be done with these figures by someone who cares.

A salutary lesson to us all that a fine piece doesn't necessarily have to cost megabucks.(y) Here I go, fossicking through the Historex spares boxes again:D

Excellent Steve. Lovely to see this wonderful medium being used. Looking forward to seeing this vignette develop.

Both are looking great. I'm loving seeing what some talented folks have been able to achieve with not only older models but spares and conversion work. There's a lot to be said for 'built not bought'

:wideyed::wideyed: AFTER, or before you'd drunk them? It's a great job, Steve(y) Looking at an everyday object with a bit of lateral thinking, then adapting it to an entirely different purpose ---all in the finest traditions of modelling. Looking forward to the completion.

Both pieces are nice. I am another Historex fan, and love to create one of a kind figures from the vast array of parts. I love Mamelukes and look forward to the completion of the Egypt vignette.

I too love Historex as a medium. I'm looking forward to its completion. Steve, will you be going to the MMSI Chicago Show in October?
