As many of you may have noticed Historical Miniature (HM) Magazine has of late fallen behind on its normal distribution schedule. For this, R&K Productions and myself would like to apologize to the entire readership. We know that as subscribers and distributors of HM Magazine, you expect to see your magazine delivered on time, rain or shine. But for me, as your editor, the last several months have been extremely difficult most notably due to my other, full time job. When not working on the magazine, my time is spent as an IT Systems Administrator for a west coast home builder. Unfortunately, like most home builders in this country, times have gotten difficult at best and within the last 6 months we have relocated our corporate H.Q. and reduced our company staff by 61%. Workload has tripled and free time has vanished. What this has meant for both myself and the magazine is that it has been extremely difficult to finish the magazine on time during this period as I have had to concentrate on keeping myself employed. The magazine is approximately 65% complete and after discussions with R&K Productions, we have decided that we will skip an issue. This will allow the current issue to be completed and released as Issue #62 July\Aug\Sept instead of Issue #62 Apr\May\June. This will allow Issue #63 to be released in a timely manner. This change will in no way effect subscriptions and all subscribers will still receive their full number of issues.

Thanks for your patience;
Steven Weakley

Steven, I have each and every copy of HM beginning with issue #1 and will continue to buy and be an avid fan of your fine magazine for as long as you keep publishing it. Thanks for keeping us updated.

i did have issue 1` but because of some cleaning of my apartment about three years ago i no longer have the first ten issues so if you issue a book of containing the first twenty issues i would definely buy it.

Steven,

I think most of us loyal subscribers understand that "life happens" and that the magazine is the work of a small, devoted few. As long as you keep us infomred, as you have done here, I doubt that there is a subscriber that will not stick with you. IMHO, your magazine is the best available and worth the wait.

Food on the Table has to come first!

Thank you for the update. Better to have disappointing news up front vs. a lack of communication and the usual resultant bad feelings.

My hat's off to you for having the integrity and fortitude to keep us informed!

I will continue to buy your excellent magazine!!

Kevin D.
