Hi guys. Here is a conversion Im currently working on. The head and direction of the head has been changed and a new cowl sculpted. Going to keep the shield, but don't know about that funny looking sword. My idea is to have him in the snow, black and white looks so cool. I know its asimple one, but its my first.

WOW......Hardy......it looks great......like you had actually draped real cloth around his helm and shoulders......please post more as you go along.

I have been reading your post in TnT forum and can say I have read that they occasionally get snow in the Holy land.

Thanks Guy. Miliput is surprisingly simple to use, I made the cowl in about an hour.
I want him to look very tatty, as if a long way from home and cold!!!!!!!! Im going to depict rust on the helm.

Good Scene Hardy,

I look forward to see the figure progress. (look forward hell, I can't wait)

Keep us posted please.

Well I've been blathering on about it since Euro, and you've done it! Well done mate ;)

Looks good! Is it superfine white? I have a real problem with that! too clay like for me!

Was it rolled out and applied?

definately a black and white subject! No flesh tones!

No problems with simple, Hardy, got to start somewhere!

Hardy, I like the look of the figure, maybe you could depict him at Lake Peipus. Painter Kreston Peckham did a knight in white, I can't think of the manufacturer. Anyway, his handling of the whites and the weathering on the figure was great. Looking forward to seeing the paintjob.~Gary

Yep, all superfine white. Wish I had got that putty from Euro now.

Can't wait to crack on with this one, I will start Saturday
