Simply magnificent. As Luisg above says maybe just a bit more mud splatter up the legs to 'bed' the figures more into the groundwork.
Stunning and unusual, won't see many better than this (y)

It is great to read you comments and hear your thoughts about my diorama - I really appreciate it! A great inspiration to bring with me to my next project (y)

Some of you raised the question on weathering. It is a good and valid point. I also got this feedback from some of my modelling buddies during the build of the diorama. I actually deliberately chose to hold back on the weathering on the figures. I did this as I know, at least to me, how very easy it is to ruin a perfectly fine figure with a little bit too much weathering. The motto "less is more" comes to mind here. However, I hope that I will be able to integrate more weathering on my future figures. Both in a natural, but also in aesthetic way. I actually got a few new ideas that I will try out on my next figs.
All the best & happy modelling to you all!

Excellent work, Johan. I know the tremendous effort you spent on this piece, taking attention to every little detail from sculpting to painting and creating a breathtaking diorama.
You always come up with great ideas and then manage to follow them thru with ridiculously good result, an admirable quality from a modeller.
Congrats to a really brilliant dio.

Regards /Lars
