Well as I enter my final day as a middle aged man before becoming an official Old Aged Pensioner I've decided to give up something, take up something and resurrect an old habit that gave me pleasure as a 5 year old.
Tell you what. the prospect of becoming 65 years old is very odd, didn't feel any particular change when I became 30, 40 or 50 but this is a bit different. I'm still trying to find the angle to exploit that being 65 might give me.
I'm thinking there must be something around the dementia excuse.. something like.. you know when you were 13 sticking your face into the cleavage of your mothers friends pretending to be really upset about Bambi's mother.;)

Del, don't forget your National Insurance Contributions also get paid up to age 65 from age 60. At least, mine did. as I had to take early retirement.

Well here I am an OAP time for some changes. My occupation, since I retired several years ago I've been a Freelance Nephologist, a Smooth Talkin' Fancy Man...... and now I plan to be an Influencer
The 3 changes (all sensible)
1. I'm giving up salt.
2. I'm going to learn to play the guitar (although I'm very tempted by the ukelele)
And finally my regression back to primary school age
3, I'm going to resurrect wiping my nose on my sleeve (y)

Life's great
