i brought smoe figures from icm and they prussian figures from the franco-prussian war of 1870,and us marines from iraqui war - 2003. first should resculpt the heads or get new ones. ;)

At the weekend I saw the relatively new 1/35 ww1 stormtroopers which are a good step forward for ICM.
However the equipment looks good enough for me.

I also saw and spontaneously grabbed their brand new 1/48 ww2 german Luftwaffe ground personnel set which is excellent in anatomy and detail!

So it seems there is a evolution and you have to check before you buy.

Mat, from memory I think Bill's are a tad smaller but not absolutely sure. I will check since I have both. The ICM FP War sets have things missing from Bill's sets like the rifles (Chassepot, Dreyse) which are not too bad. The French bayonets are pretty nice too. Like I said, in general the ICM kits are good for the accessories but that's about it. I don't know about their other kits from other periods.

Roy, the ICM kits are injected polystyrene a la DML, Multipose. Here is a UK website that sells them.

Thanks Bob, I had looked at the French kit and thought the figures were pretty stiff and of little use, but I was holding out hope for the Prussians.
