Lastnight I made a start on the Guidon of dragoon Regiment Eugen Prinz von Savoyen.
I need to further refine it but I don't think it's too bad for freehand work in 30mm.

Thanks Huw. I still need to add some light coloured little swirly bits. The idea is to give the impression of light on the embroidery without painting too much detail.

I've had a pleasant afternoon with the brushes but these are getting put aside now while I do some work on the foot figures.
I am still undecided on what regiment to depict for the drummer which is why he's still in primer.

I expected the call to come this morning telling me I need to travel back to work tomorrow so I packed all my paints away and tidied the mess I have created over the past four weeks. The call came, travel back Friday.
Anyway it's all away now so this is how this project will stay until next leave.
