Excellent work on all the detail Nap....Great to see such determination and patience...Slow and steady wins the race in todays "I want it now world".

Nap, the drawing of gripping the reins was taken from an early Historex catalogue, which Bryan Fosten illustrated. He was called to task by Eugene Leiepvre for this ,as it is the "British" grip, whereas the French is shown better in the painting by Lalauze above. Didn't want you beating yourself up threading reins through fingers ! Lovely work BTW, coming on beautifully.

Hairs in the paint Busty . . . . .Really (Don't worry I'm sure Santa will bring some new non shedding brushes )
Admire your sense of exactidue matey. I've got to be honest I'm not sure I'd have had the courage to rub down and repaint.
Hopefully Crimbo shopping will be done and dusted soon so you can press on to the finish. If not I can wholeheartedly recommend a dose of painting to help digestion after Christmas dinner . . .
Cheers
