This is a cracker and could be an inspiration for PF modellers I think.

wherever you live, or werever you travel, you have or will see a local memorial we cannot see, but it has a home here mate.
 
I always 'enjoy' this thread. As it grows it's a history lesson to us all.
I was looking for a particular memorial in Kelvingrove Park. Glasgow and came across this site.

What horrifies me is that many of the memorials shown are within walking distance of where I live and the others are not much more than a 15 minute drive away.
Anyway visiting as many of these as I can is my summer project.

I am not doing all my local ones...we have 1,500+ on Merseyside !
