Greetings,

I have just received the 90mm Metal Models Captain of the 5th Hussar figure. :)

Opening up the box revealed a well cast figure with smaller parts fitting perfectly into place. Although it is an older kit this still stands up to the 'test of time'.

I have two questions on this figure and apologies for not having any image to insert :( to help readers respond to my questions. Perhaps somebody who is computer literate (unlike me) has an image of the figure in question to add to this discussion please....

My two questions are:

1. Having limited knowledge of sculpting or anatomy proportions etc. - is the left forearm of this figure correct or is it too long - (left arm leaning on the sword)? It may only be the direction of the wrist and hand which has raised this question but I would appreciate expert input herein.

2. As Napoleonics are not my main subject - can anybody help out on colour schemes - are there variations to paint this figure in? I would appreciate if fellow Planteers can add other photos of this figure either from other shows or from personal collection. It would assist in deciding how to paint this figure.

Many thanks and looking forward to input herein.

Ciao
