Hi All!

I am relative new to this forum and have read a lot here within the last months. Seeing the work of all those great names here is inspiration a lot and I have begun sculpting not so long ago. Due to the fact that I am a Horror and SciFi-Film Buff, my themes were clear: Something new and as detailed as possible. So here are a few of my figures made so far. This is an Insectman in 1:24, sculpted over a Preiser Figure in 1:24 (was good, so I hadn´t to make a naked foot!) with Magic Sculpt and some detal tools and toothpics. It was a pleasure to work out all those skin- and surface details! Thanks for looking!

Cool! Although I bet this guy's golf game is off a little due to that little transformation on his left arm!

I love the works of masters like Yasushi Nirasawa, who´s book CREATURE CORE is one of my "bibles". This guy has put out creatures and figures in the 90ties you won´t believe (all in the big scales 1:4 or 1:6). Since I am a modeller who has always prefered painting and sculpting in small scale, I wanted to build something similar: Cruel, maybe a bit grotesque and whats not or seldom is available.

Frank, Nothing wrong with your choice of subject. I do like the look of the texture of your figure. It should paint up nicely.~Gary

Thanks, Gary, for your kind words! I thought, hm, this is mainly a military/historical forum and could it be ok to post pics of such, more or less, fantasy related stuff. But after I read some replies, it guess it was not a bad idea...

Thanks for looking!
