Hi Ken

Your moving fast on this .......thought I was up to date ......the base was built , primed and painted ....a good comment by Robert and a good result after your repainting .....looks so much better

Constructive honest comments always help ....what PF is about ...sharing ideas

Thanks Nap! I'm always open to constructive criticism. I may not always agree but, if so, I'll explain why. If the criticism makes sense to me I'll definitely try and adjust things. With a WIP, adjusting is not as major as if the project was already complete. The end result is we all learn something and as you said, that's a big part of Planet Figure.

Cheers,
Ken

i will get through the open door (LOL) : as a post apocalyptic scenario maybe you could add some garbage here and there on the ground ? something easily recognizable like some fast food paper adverts, just to show a definitively past era ?

have a good day my friend :)

Now this has gotten me looking at the fig sets, some 1/24 cinder blocks and other urban junk kits on e-bay...

Thanks guys! My initial thoughts followed yours exactly. However, I decided to keep it a bit simpler. The setting, in my mind, is a decade or two after the Apocalypse and the weather has erased most man made items other than metal and stone. (How easy I justify not doing something. ;)) Also, I wanted to get to working on the figures and I'm trying to finish before my interest begins to wane. :)

As a side note, there are 1/35 versions of the figures with a few differences in the Master Box Desert Battle series. This would allow access to the wealth of 1/35 accessories available.

These are great ideas and I hope someone else uses the suggestions to build even more elaborate vignettes and dioramas in this theme. (y)

Cheers,
Ken

Catching up with this little gem.
Superb work, as usual Ken.
You're definitely the Master of the Master Box kits.
Looking forward to the next instalment.

Cheers.
Andrew
