Jason,
Pretty creative way of making the logs (y) I'm sure I can come up with some really interesting WWII subjects during my free time - and there's not much of that nowadays - but you can never go wrong with character pieces. Some that come to mind are Maj. "Mad Jack" Churchill, LtCol. "Gabby" Gabreski, and Col. Friedrich Von der Heydte.

Jason, Great job and sbs on the breastworks. The logs look like those in photos of earthworks that have a real thick bark, man those look neat.~Gary

jason, just once I wish you would do something lousy so I could rag on you! Everything you have done and presented looks absolutly fantastic

I hope to do a civil war tent with log walls sometime in the future
Thanks everyone! It's been a blast to build and I can't wait to paint it! However, I still have the sculpting bug and will start another project in the next few day's.

Brian, you may want to sculpt the "bark" before gluing the logs together. I found it a little difficult to do this when all the logs where glued and mounted to the base. ;)

Hi All! Just finished this project. It was great fun to build and paint. Sorry for the pic's. Think it's time to invest in a better camera. ;)

Thanks for looking.
