About Mick’s Mick’s

The Victorian British Army has long been my passion, and the Irish Regiments have always taken pride of place.

I have dropped hints to various manufactures at shows requesting such a collection to no avail. I was talking to Mrs Mick one night about my dream and to my surprise she replied “ If you want to do it then you do it” So all being well I will.

I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to Ian Burton of Ellies Miniatures without whose help, support and assistance this project would not have taken off.

Updates on the two busts will be posted as and when they are available.

This is the R Simkin Irish Regiments Print that gave me the inspiration for this project. Inspiration only Not a direct copy.

Mick ( Mick’s Mick’s)

Just to follow on from mick's post we are delighted to be involved in this project. I have seen the art work that the first two Busts will be based on. and have to say they will look great. This will be a great series to follow and I'm sure will keep the Victorian collector very happy over the coming months.

As mick has said the range will be available through our web site www.elliesminiatures.com and will also be seen at any shows we attend ( Guys at the White Rose Club you will see them at the monthly meetings).

I'm sure Offo will bring out the best in the art work and I for one are very excited to see the first master. Keep an Eye on our web site , PF & FB for updates and availability.

I would like to thank Mick for putting his faith in Ellie's Miniatures we hope this will be a great addition to our web site and wish mick well with this project.

Cheers

Ian

Thank you Nap & Roger.
Its been an itch that wouldn't go away for a long time, and until you try you just dont know.
As said earlier without Ian's support the project would not have got off the ground.
Thanks for looking in and we will keep you all posted.
Mick

And there was me saying at New Year ..." not going to buy anything this year" ......

Hi Nap I have given a couple of artists for Mick to think about, so we shall see lol. Tom we could be looking at the middle of April for the first one then a couple of months later for the next one. it will depend on Offo's order book. but the first one is marked down for end of March beginning of April.

Mick and myself will keep you updated as to when the first one will be ready.

cheers

This may very well reignite my Victorian passion. Do we have any estimation of time frame for the first release?
Tom

Hi Tom.
Offo has given me an estimated start date of the beginning of April, as he already has work on his books. Lets hope they do reignite your Victorian passion.
Thanks for looking in
Mick
