Well, it's time to start a new project.
This time, my crack at an FeR Miniatures' 19 Indiana Corporal.
Likely to take months, so it'll be like watching a tree grow.
Maybe I'll keep the photos etc down a once a week, so progress is visible.

The nice thing about the early stages is that I can build and paint the base colours in the spare room, so the stereo is better.

Kicked the day off with the usual Sunday archery tradition.
Gradually, gradually improving at that.

Oh, he's quite an interesting figure, David. Look forward to watching your progress. Are you using a longbow?

Sadly, no. School day tomorrow.
The figure is really good. Not too much tidying or filling so far.

"Clutching at straws... we're clutching at straws.
Still drowning."

The joys of being retired I guess, a nice Cabernate Shiraz before bed.

Remembering lyrics is not something I can usually do even if the track is playing, I still get them wrong.

Cheers Simon

That's really a cool Sunday morning tradition. I also like to shoot on Sunday but I won't post pics here. Doesn't go well ...

Looking forward to your work on this classic figure, it's a good one.

Excellent, I was definitely into Madness and the whole Ska Two Tone thing back in the 70's or 80's (can't remember which though probably both) and I would enjoy seeing them.on stage. Going to Stonedead in Newark again in August, got Saxon as the headliners.

"Biff won't bite yer..."
Enjoy the gig!
We saw Madness in Scarborough at an outdoor venue that felt like a lido.
Two Tone was so exciting. Far too brief.
