Stupid co-workers ??? ... Well, I wouldn't want to miss a day at work with my stunningly beautiful 23 year old blonde colleague, and our weekly rendez-vous at Haagen-Dasz with chocolate bruffins and cappucino. And yet I'm still painting figures ?!?

And the pick-up line would be?
-You have a great figure, may I paint it?

Cheers

It's encouraging to know that there are folks in the world that get enjoyment from creativity for it's own sake, especially on days when I feel that I'm simply another rat in the maze. If I can't do something creative for a living (I wait for things to break; I fix them, then wait for someting else to break), at least I can come home and create something.

I think it's important to have a pastime, a passion.

For me, like for others who already posted, its good to be creative, even adding a feeling of personal achievement which is sometimes lacking in the working world despite "doing things" for money.

I too once had a beautiful red head freckled coworker (not from Ireland - from bavaria ! ) but it proved to be counter productive in the end.
