Japlans a large internet company in the hobby trade has opened an actual shop on their premise . Based on the outskirts of Glastonbury which is about 30 miles away from me .
My son ,grandson and myself visited it last week and boy is it huge . They carry a vast and varied range , Airfix, Hornby, Scalextrix, Revell , Citadel paints, Woodland Scenic Products and Lego .
It's proving very popular they are already expanding it
So if you are in the West Country on holiday or just passing through it's worth a stop off .

Really miss not having a physical model shop in my area any more, used to enjoy loosing a couple of hours just looking at what was available.
Hopefully they will expand into more stores.
Cheers mate

I've bought stuff from them online - they are reliable and not too pricey. Nice to see they are going "physical"

Hi Steve I don't think they plan on opening other stores but they are in the process of expanding this one .

Hi Phil yes I have also bought from them and found them to be speedy and fair priced .

The missus keeps nagging about going to Glastonbury hmmm. . .
You really should make the trip . You could have a fine day of it there . First there's the climb up to Glastonbury tor, then a trip around Glastonbury Abbey ruins . send a couple of hours in Japlans and finally I would recommend this place Westhay Moor Nature Reserve Not so much for the nature but more so you would get an idea of what the land looked like during the rein of Alfred the Great and why the Danish army could not reach him . Let me know if you head this way and we can meet up and I'll give you a guided tour
