Nice review, thanks.
I like German figs as much as the next guy, and I have many 200mm figs. I have many of Jeff's figures and think they are great. However, I have to say that the subject is wearing a bit thin for me. I think Jeff now has at least 3 German MG guys in this scale, plus there are the ones from PMC, Kirin, and maybe others. With all the possible subjects that haven't been so so extensively, even German subjects, another German MG gunner really doesn't do much for me. At this point a Japanese machine gunner from the Pacific campaign, or a Soviet subject, would be much appreciated. I'm aware German sells, but hey, even a 200mm Gebirgsjager, an early war Wehrmacht infantryman, perhaps in France or Poland, or any other "non-MG gunner" fig would be appreciated. Not slamming this figure at all, it looks good, just the choice of subject.

I have to concur with Jason about the subject. There's nothing wrong with the figure itself, but as a subject "WWII German Machine Gunner" has been done to death ... and then some!

I purchased this figure at the Atlanta Show, #4 of 100. I love the figure but its not perfect, large airholes in the hood and shoulders......

To follow up from the comments above, to satisfy my curiosity I've just had a look at Jeff's site and so far he's done no fewer than 14 "WWII German Machine Gunners" in standing poses, three or four of them are Fallschirmjäger and one is a Gebirgsjäger - just for a bit of variety. But even so: Fourteen!!! In addition there are a few others in "action" poses.

They must sell, or he probably wouldn't keep churning them out. I've even got a couple myself! But: Too much of a good thing?!

Yeah, I didn't even mention the ones in 1/16th scale. I like me some Machine gunners, but a little variety is a good thing as well.

Yeah, I have been eye balling that modern fig for some time now. Great fig. I'm just glad Andrea didn't release it, it would probably cost at least 50% more if they had...
