Back in June I was fortunate enough to win FOTM, the prize that month was offered by Jinkoo Park. Once results were announced at the start of August Kev messaged Jinkoo to say I would be in touch to discuss which kit I would like. The initial response from a Jinkoo was positive, after a delay, saying please advise which kit you would like and your address. Nothing arrived. Kev and I have both tried to communicate with him on many occasions now. Rarely we receive any form of acknowledgement or response if we do we it’s along the lines of, “I will mail you” if I have messaged him or “I will message you” if I have emailed him, “it’s out of stock” although the site still accepts orders with no out of stock message, or, “it’s being recast”.

In summary 4 months later I have revived nothing from him and still not had a proper reply from him.

looking at his FB page it appears other people have had issues with him, I made some enquires and found that he has not been paying service providers to him either.

Whilst browsing the internet I found that he has a distributor in Hungary, Bigbear Miniatures run by Gabor Gurzo, please see separate post, I contacted Gabor to see if he had stock of the particular kit as Jinkoo had told me there was no stock. Gabor confirmed he had stock and asked if I wanted to order. I explained why I was asking. He immediately asked for my details and today the kit has arrived from his stock in Hungary.

The vast majority of people in our hobby community are friendly, kind, honest and helpful so on the rare occasion I find someone who isn’t they really stand out for the wrong reasons. I really don’t think we need people like Jinkoo Park in our community.

Thank you Neil

I am sorry you had so much bother but happy Gabor from Bigbear has sorted things out

I have removed Jinkoo from FOTM supporters

Enjoy the prize

Glad you've got it sorted Neil. You aren't the only one who's had issues with this charlatan. There was a lengthy thread on it a while back.

Thank Steve I missed that at the time, just found it, he really is dreadful, I have given him negative feedback along with others in his FB page.

Hopefully this will help get the word our more about him and help people avoid him

Cheers

Last summer I purchased a Jinkoo figure on ebay, IT TOOK FOREVER TO ARRIVE but the seller did make the effort to keep me informed of the production issues. I was very pleased with the figure after receiving it but declined to purchase anymore figures as his feedback was not the greatest.

Hi Guys

Another bad experience from Indy there and another update with negative comments from a sculptor ....

IMO Jinkoo has gone to ground ...hope he stays away from our community for good

Hopefully, but would be good if someone manages to acquire his range as he has some very nice pieces.

I reviewed his "Roman with Mastiff" here. I bought it from him direct almost a year ago now - when he was fulfilling orders & responding to feedback, and before the various negative issues surrounding him arose.

Needless to say, I never did receive the new box and sticker that he promised in his comments in that thread, nor did he respond to my PMs on the subject.

I agree it would be good to see his range resurrected by someone more reliable because he actually did some very nice stuff.

I agree with the above. The pieces that I got were quite good. It is disappointing that this situation should occur.
