I agree with you. This is the man that in February 1807 was in front of 10.700 men at Eylau, leading the greatest cavalry charge recorded in history. They followed him to hell and back shattering in their way the Russian center, artillery and reserve, buying time for Ney and Davout to join Napoleon with their corps. Speaking about charisma, during the same charge Colonel Lepic with a group of mounted grenadiers was surrounded and called to surrender. He replied to the russian commander: "Look at these faces and see if they mean anything like surrender!"...
