Here I am to present my latest work.
I chose to represent John landless, or the brother of Richard the Lionheart.
His nickname comes from the fact that the death of his father, he had left without any land for an inheritance.
I planned to use to represent the beautiful piece of Andrea, who plays the actor Orlando Bloom in the movie "Kingdom of Heaven".
I edited the piece with Milliput and Magic Sculpt, going to make a mustache and beard, then by including a quilted tunic over the chainmail and infinie a billowing cloak that would follow the trend moved the hair.
Although it is not very well versed with the stucco, I must say that I enjoyed very impressed and the use of the MS, because I find it very interesting in its appearance and almost waxy finish.
So I decided to paint the piece entirely in black, leaving heraldry, my first experience in truth, the task of giving the light blow to the entire piece.
Just heraldry me has resulted in a bit of trouble, but in the end I managed to overcome them and as a first experience, all in all, I'm quite satisfied.

I am very glad you like it, because this piece was a bit of a challenge for me, and for the change, both for the painting of heraldry.
Maybe in the future I'll try other actors in the Middle Ages, but maybe with different designs of heraldry

Hello!

You did a beautiful miniature everything is perfect but the heraldic paint is top notch.

Pedro.

Exceptional effort considering you've never done heraldry before. I admire your willingness to challenge yourself and push your limits. Its only by doing this you discover your true worth as an artist.

With a little epoxy putty, imagination, you can easily change the nature of a figure.
I quite like this version, and of course the painting is amazing.

Lovely work Bull. You make him almost come alive.
How did you decide on the heraldry as I am sure the landless son may have had to wear a different crest from his father/brother?
I could be wrong but your work is so good I thought I would ask.
Super

Don

Hello Don, I did not find any images that represent John with a heraldic different, so I assumed that he had the same as his brother and his father.
However, to differentiate it from the classic iconography of Richard, who usually had the lions largest full-dress, I thought of including them in a smaller crest, surmounted by a crown to remember his role as king.
