WIP Critique Julius Caesar, Andrea 90mm

Primed and ready for paint.

I’ve had this kit in my grey army for years and once had ambitions to do a large multi-figure diorama with Caesar surrounded by his generals receiving the sword of surrender from a kneeling Vercingetorix at Alessia.

I’m happy to bring this back to a simple single figure piece and just have fun with one of my favourite figures of one of my favourite historical characters.

Thanks to all. Hi Nap, no I mix my flesh tones by eye. Always a touch of blue, a stronger touch of red/magenta mixed with Naples Yellow and Burnt Sienna. The mixtures and ratios vary from project to project but usually I start with these four colours, and then add filter washes when I switch to oils.
