How about an Indian army lancer, like Madras Lancers with light blue uniform?

Or a Napoleonic German light horse trumpeter (Lancers of Berg) with a pink jacket?

Or Murat's ADC, Captain Manhes

I think that you guys are right-keep it smaller.
Ok then. 75mm subjects....?

Now you are talking. I believe that 75mm scale is perfectly suited for mounted subject. Not too expensive with a really good detail.

My first choice has to be a Polish Winged Hussar. No one has ever done mounted one in 75mm or larger. Even those in 54mm were not that great as you would expect. I would be in heaven if anyone could ever do one of these:

Now - to a Polish winged hussar I would say treble "Yes, please"!

I lost sleep when I saw this one, unfortunately a one off, 90 mm, Vasilij Birzul. To me it still remains an "ultimate" horse figurine

But if something like this was possible....

So many excellent ideas there-I wish I was 20 again (probably wouldn't be a sculptor if that was the case!)
I do, as all people do, have preferences as to what figure to sculpt( and produce)
But sales have to be a deciding factor in any future project/release
I do like most of what has been suggested-I like history as we all do!
Apart from the subject of this thread, I will be sculpting and releasing a figure that might strike a cord with us all
I've always wanted to sculpt it! That's all I have to say about that (Forest Gump style! lol)
Keep them coming because if I don't do it then someone else may!:)

Carl-I was going to sculpt that one when I had Spearhead Miniatures! It is a favourite of mine!:)
The 17th lancer pic was on the list too!

I can't wait to see it. If it is in 75mm you got my attention.
