I think it depends who you order from, for instance, when I buy something from stu at Stormtroopers I know it's going to be with me the very next day so I always order from him when I know the wife's at work and I'm at home, the same for Historex, with me I normally get it the next day or day after, again I make sure I order when I know I'm going to be home, and she is'nt,I do the same thing when ordering from Steve at SK and graham at CGS.
My wife spends £30 a month alone on just her nails which over a year is £360,on top of that she has a tan now and again plus hair salon trips and having her eyebrows done every 8 weeks,it's getting on for £500 a year,so when I do have problems with her complaining about model kits I gently remind her of all the above and that normally shuts her up

My mate tried that one Brian, she said
"But darling I only go through all that to look as good as I can just for you"
And after a pause, "Who do you make your models for?"
I winced .
I hope none of the girls read this thread lads.

Yep Brian ....... that's about right. I discovered fairly recently that my personal CSI spends about £170 everytime she visits the hairdresser, multiply by 2 to include 21 year old daughter. Add on tickets for concerts, Fleetwood Mac this month has cost me £280 for tickets for the two of them ....... and I worry about getting to the post before she does :D

Don't fret too much guys the Goverment is about to sell off the last publicly owned bit of the Royal Mail for a bag of spuds.
I suspect that in the near future rather than paying postage it'll be cheaper to get the manufacturers to hand deliver.
