Guys hi

Just registered on the site having found it a week or so ago.

Very impressed with the quality of painting and sculpting on display, and the sheer friendliness of everybody.


I have dabbled in figures for 20 odd years, but have spent recent time rediscovering the joys of 1/48 aircraft and using an airbrush.

However figures never go away, and are easier to spend a few minutes a day on.

My interests

Franco - Prussian War 1870-71 , and I'm very pleased to see the level of interest here in this period.

and any figure that grabs my attention. Preferred scale 90mm & 54mm in that order.

Welcome! Nice work? Is that catchlight on his eyes, painted? Or an actual reflection on a glossy surface? Either way, looks good. Very clean and neatly painted.

Gordy thanks for the heads up, have sorted the first pic.

Lou hi, the catchlight is a reflection on the gloss finish of the eyeball. Given the scale of the bust I felt that was the better option and more natural then painting one in.
