Holy meatballs, my brother got me this kit for my birthday and one for himself as well, due to me showing him it on the internet every time he comes over, hint hint.
This is a ballbuster of a sculpt and the casting is outstanding. The best part is the way the kit goes together, it has to be in my top 3 of design and ease of assembly. I was hoping for a nice figure/kit but I got much more then I was expecting. If your on the fence...... don't be a silly Billy and just press the "buy it now"!!!
Can't rate the quality high enough

Hi MrBMB, Martin, and Huw, thanks a lot for your comments, guys!

MrBMB, I'm really glad to read your comment, it motivates me a lot.

Martin, thanks a lot for introducing bike kits.

PLEASE NOTE: This kit fits perfectly to "Zündapp KS750" kits. The modified version for "BMW R75" will be released in the future. (left arm and butt are needed to be fixed a little to fit BMW)

And, this is a painted version of this kit, painted by Keigo Murakami.

Hi Kaz

Is the R75 version still in the pipes ?
At the end of year 2017 I asked Paul from Model Cellar when it will be released, He answered me January 2018. Obviously not.. It's a pity considering the availlability of the R75 kit over the Zundapp one.

Hello Everyone,
Thanks for all the kind words.

Bond090, Yes, the BMW version is still in the pipeline. I've got the modified arm and legs from kaz. I have sprues on them and they are on my bench. I just need to pour rubber around them and make the molds. The kind words and awesome review by MrBMB have given me motivation. ...maybe I have finally found one of those elusive "round tuits" =))

Paul

p.s. KAZ, the painted version looks great - thanks for posting it.

Well you make a good figure/kit/sculpt you get a good review that's how it works in my book. I only have one other 1/9 German figure from ModelCellar which was also a great casted figure as well. This one goes that extra mile with the extra equipment for bike, 2 helmets, dog, dog seat and 2 gas masks containers. 1/9 figures are few and far between these days. Really hoping Kaz might do a Kettenkrad figure in same uniform or winter gear in 1/9 and for that matter there really isn't a good figure for it in 1/35 either.

That model in this post painted by Keigo Murakami is a cracker and love the the face, awesome!!!

Although this is an older thread, I just have to say this work is faultless. I just love it.

Hi Guys

What to say really ...simply wonderful release ....it seems Mr BMB like this ...lol

Great sculpting and artwork as well ...as Steve put it a showstopper

Glad I don't do legs or bikes though ...LOL

Thanks for sharing

Happy Christmas to Paul and all at Model Cellar

stay tuned for Jeff Shiu's next releases ;)

I’m not sure what releases you are referring to, other than the existing 1/9th motorcycle crew.

However, the big down side to jeff’s work, is his really awkward placement of his casting blocks on a lot of his figures. Not so with this ‘Kettenhound’.

Mark.
