Once a master brushsmith always a master brushsmith. A great comeback Mark, glad you're on the mend. Look forward to catching up with you again on the show circuit some time.
Good to see that you've made a good recovery and are back at the bench. I've had various problems over the last few years but nothing as drastic as yours... yet
Mark,it's great to see you posting again,I know you told me at Euro this year that things had improved with your sight and that's great news mate, you hav'nt lost any of your painting talent and these are lovely pieces of work,it's great to see you back, look after yourself and take care
Glad to see your still in the game... Sorry to hear about your health issues.. I sincerely hope your health improves and your able to keep sharing your amazing figures.. All the best
Plugging away at the MG Gunner has got me this far, I love this part where you atart to add the details and things start falling into place.
I recently watched the 1985? newsnight special "D-Day to Berlin" on the BBC IPlayer and I remember a veteran saying that they had a load of German POWS in a group and he could still remember the smell of all the leather equipment...
I've deliberately used slightly different mixes for each item made of leather to try and add a bit of visual interest... or something lol
Great to see you back Mark, did wonder why you were not posting anymore, assumed you had moved over to FB, your painting is still to the high standard that I remember.
A lovely piece of work, Mark - I like the wear you've applied to the leather equipment, & the choice of a light skin tone so he looks like he's suffering with the cold.
Yes, I have missed your posts Mark, sorry to hear of your health problems but great to see your comeback and recovery, all the best for the future and look forward to your posts.
