A Fixture
Hello folks,
This is my first figure of the new year, hope not the last...I'm fond of the early medieval period and the early anglo-saxon period is for sure one of my favorite. This is a old figure from Mil-Art and no more available , when i found it i was glad because i think it is the only figure in 90 mm rapresenting the man of the famous Sutton Hoo burial, that is dated around 625 AD. The most famous item of the burial treasure is the face mask helmet with a lot of silver panels of pagan mythological figures . It is thought that the man of the burial was the king of East Anglia, Hraedwald.
I painted the figure as usual in oils using acrylics for basecoat.
any criticism welcome and thank you for looking.
