About the satin question, yes it is true. I think that it is related to the fact that the more glazes you add to the figure, the more brush strokes you use and these strokes will 'polish' the surface resulting in this satin finish.

I wouldn't have believed that a face like this could be achieved in acrylics.

Hi Metal Extremo, I myself currently don't have the equipment and condition to record any video. It is much more difficult for me than just writing in text. Sorry for that. But if you are interested in watching videos to learn painting busts, I highly recommend the video series of painting the Nutsplanet Shield Maiden bust by master Ben Komets if you haven’t watched it yet. There are a total of 14 high quality videos in that series. Just search for the Painting Buddha account on YouTube and you will find the video series of painting that bust as well as many other good series in that YouTube account. Hope this helps.
