I decided to do a kit review on my favorite subject - Mountain Men. This is an 75mm white metal casting from The Lost Battalion Miniatures. Sculpted by Terry Worster
The kit is a basic 3 piece casted kit with the body, base and rifle with the hands attached.
The figure is finely sculpted with loads of sculpted detail. The bead design is actually sculpted into the figure making it much easier to paint.
The gun is well done with the extra detail shown that the Hawken would have. The hands fit right into the arm sockets with no problem.
Casting clean-up was minimal with the use of an x-acto knife and sanding board. The facial detail is well sculpted by Terry and makes the face much easier to paint. I will show the figure in the painted version soon.
