Hello All,
This is a start on a 1/16 figure with Mule. The figure is a short fella which anatomocally speaking is not easy to model, that is getting proportions exact for a small person. The mule is not that easy either but hopefully getting there.
comments welcome,
Andy

Hi Andy,

Excellent bit of sculpting!

I know what you mean about the proportions of people with a smaller stature. I've been working on a 1/16th figure with a known actual height of 5'5" (scale height 104mm). Like the figure you're doing, he's shown in the photo with his sleeves folded back on an oversize tunic!

What a great looking mule!

Is this scene taken from a photo?

Cheers,
Jon.

Hi Andy,

You are certainly pumping them out! But not losing any of the creativity. I've got to admit mate I find this one incredibly tempting and would love to look at painting some of your work one day. Hope to meet in September and study the array of figures\busts you have produced.

Lovely depiction with a naturalness that pay due homage to these guys, any chance you may do some Maori Battalion soldiers too perhaps?

Take care,

Mike

I see what you mean about sculping a short person. Hadn't really thought about it but getting the proportions right must have been a challenge. You've nailed it.

Regards
Derek

Thanks for the comments Guys.Once im happy with the proportions of the mule, the harness will be next.Im looking forward to making a sack of potatoes as part of the cargo for some reason.
